A La Luna Y De Regreso is a riveting new work addressing relationship dynamics, intimacy, sonder, and the effects of timing on two independent entities. The dancers involved are trained in multiple styles of dance across the board, showcasing their seamless integration of the styles to create a complex and interesting piece. Originally from upstate New York, Amanda Monteith is a dancer, choreographer, and artist based in Arizona. Her dancing has been featured in several productions including Her Brown Body is Glory, a capstone show for Arizona choreographer, Hannah Victoria. Alongside concert dance stage work, Amanda has also worked as a performer for notable rapper Fetty Wap and as a master class assistant in Las Vegas for Aliya Janell. She has performed and trained internationally in multiple dance disciplines, most recently in Northern Israel under the direction of Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. Amanda has trained and will continue to train in various styles, hoping to work in multiple avenues and genres of dance.
